Victims of a traffic crash are in a stable condition at the hospital with injuries after a crash that occurred near Wellington.
The crash occurred when a late model four-door hatchback, heading east along Boca Raton, slowed to turn onto Wellington.
Occupying the hatchback was a female driver, a male toddler in a safety seat in the rear passenger seat and a man in the front passenger seat.
A man driving a truck failed to stop for the hatchback and crashed into its rear, writing off the smaller vehicle.
The truck suffered minor damage.
The occupants of the vehicles were sent to Wellington Hospital with injuries the man in the hatchback is believed to have suffered a fractured cheekbone.
The crash occurred just a few hundred feet from a junkyard, where the destroyed hatchback will be stored until being scrapped.
Although the Florida Highway Patrol officials and police authorities said the crash is still under investigation as they are trying to determine if either drugs or alcohol had a part to play in the crash.
