Victims Identified In Deadly Boynton Beach Crash
Two people died in a suburban Boynton Beach crash that shut down the intersection for several hours.
The wreck happened near the intersection of Woolbright and Hagen Ranch roads.
The driver of a 2015 Honda, identified as 78-year old Deo Sigh of western Boynton Beach, turned left from southbound Hagen Ranch Road to travel east on Woolbright Road.
The driver of 2006 Mack truck was traveling north on Hagen Ranch Road and approaching Woolbright Road.
The PBSO report said the 78-year old turned into the path of the Mack truck, causing a violent collision.
The front of the Mack truck impacted the passenger side of the Honda.
Both Sigh and his passenger, Julie Kahn, 56, who also lived in western Boynton Beach, were killed in the wreck.
The driver of the Mack truck suffered minor injuries.
Everyone involved in the wreck was wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The PBSO report said no charges are pending as the Florida Highway Patrol is still on the verge of finding out if either drugs or alcohol had a role to play in the car crash.
