“Senseless,” the 29-year old woman said with a sob.

“This was so senseless. She was innocent.”

“She was running errands after work,” her daughter said. “She was shopping. She was on her way home. The road she travels every single day.”

The 60-year-old medical transcriptionist from Acreage was married and a mother of three and grandmother of two, with one on the way.

“We want justice served for her,” her 29-year old daughter said.

Authorities could not immediately provide an update on either the conditions or arrest status of the 17-year-old male they say drove the stolen car, or the 14-year-old male who was a passenger in the car. Both were taken to an undisclosed hospital after the crash, the driver, also an Acreage resident, with serious injuries and his passenger, of Haverhill, with minor injuries.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office said no charges have been filed as the agency investigates the crash. Jupiter and Palm Beach Gardens police have not yet said anything about criminal charges in the car theft and chase.

The Palm Beach Post is not naming the teens because neither has not been criminally charged as an adult.

According to authorities, a woman left her Acura running as she stepped inside at a gas station in Jupiter, and the teens jumped in the car and drove off. It sped west to Interstate 95, then east on Donald Ross Road and south on Central Boulevard into Palm Beach Gardens, where police there spotted the car on the Beeline moments before it crashed into the 60-year old woman’s car near Northlake Boulevard, police said.
