Authorities said, Josephine Peters of West Palm Beach was driving her Jaguar south on I-95 when her 2002 Jaguar started heading east.

She crashed into the 2014 Toyota Tacoma that a 37-year old Port St. Lucie man was driving. The Toyota then hit another southbound car, a 2018 Porsche driven by a 61-year old woman, Florida Highway Patrol officials and Palm Beach County police authorities said in a report.

The Jaguar then hit the concrete wall barrier and stopped on the paved shoulder. The other two cars stopped on the inside lane.

Josephine Peters was confirmed dead at Delray Medical Center. It is still unclear whether she had a seat belt on, a Florida Highway Patrol sergeant said.

The 37-year old driver and the other 61-year old Porsche driver sustained minor injuries in the wreck. They both were wearing seat belts, police records show. Florida Highway Patrol officials did not report places of residence either for the other two drivers injured in the car crash.
