46-Year-Old Stuart Man Dies In Fiery Port St. Lucie Car Crash
Three people had been taken to the hospital after a fiery crash happened at Port St. Lucie and South West Cameo Boulevard.
A 46-year-old man has been reported dead after the fiery car crash happened on Southwest Port St. Lucie Boulevard.
The car crash started when a 2014 Kia Forte, driven by 70-year-old man of Port St. Lucie, was seen traveling west on the Port St. Lucie Boulevard and had attempted to make a left turn to Southwest Cameo Boulevard. A 74-year-old woman of Port St. Lucie was sitting in the passenger seat.
A 51-year -old man was driving east on the Port St. Lucie Boulevard when his 2010 Mazda front bumper collided with the right side of the Kia, Port St. Lucie police officials reported.
The traffic lights in east and westbound traffic on Port St. Lucie Boulevard were all green, police reported in a news release.
Both vehicles had lost control, and had crashed into a concrete light pole at the southeast corner of the intersection.
The car was on fire and the victims were pulled out from the vehicle by a witness, police added
One victim who was a passenger in the Kia was confirmed dead in the crash according to a Port St. Lucie spokesman.
The 70-year-old driver, the 51-year old driver and one other passenger are still in a critical condition in the hospital.
