65-Year-Old Charged In Three-Vehicle Crash On Village Boulevard In West Palm Beach
A 65-year-old Explorer driver involved in a three-vehicle crash that occurred when a SUV went off Interstate 95 and onto Village Boulevard in West Palm Beach is currently facing charges of driving without a license and careless driving, said the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash had closed down the road during the rush hour. One person had been rushed to the hospital as a precaution, FHP said.
FHP authorities said, the crash started when a Ford Explorer, that was driving southbound on Interstate 95, had lost control with no known reason. The car had crashed through a chain link fence and struck a Toyota RAV4 head-on.
The crash pushed the Toyota into a Mercedes in another lane, according to FHP authorities.
The West Palm Beach Fire Rescue had taken the RAV4’s driver, a 65-year-old man, to a nearby hospital. He sustained minor injuries, according to FHP.
The Explorer driver told police authorities he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash, but the Florida Highway Patrol said investigations are still going on.
Police investigators are urging anyone with relevant information relating to the crash to contact the Florida Highway Patrol.
Accident attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate crash. “This is a serious accident resulting in a fatality.
