A man who had crashed into a minivan in Delray Beach, killing all four passengers inside, recently turned himself in after the police had issued a warrant for his immediate arrest, according to the Delray Beach Police Department.
A 31-year-old man from Fort Lauderdale, has been arrested on four counts of a vehicular homicide, three counts of DUI with injury and property damage and four counts of DUI manslaughter.
Police reported that he was driving his 2010 Chevy Silverado above 100 mph when he had eventually crashed into the back of a Dodge Caravan within the southbound lane of Federal Highway in Delray Beach, killing his 42-year-old sister, and a 50-year-old man, and two twin sisters both aged 6, in the Dodge Caravan. Investigators reported that he did not hit the brakes prior to the crash, police said.
Police said his blood test had revealed that the presence of Difluoroethane.The driver and another man had bought about 10 cans of Dust-Off at a Boynton Beach Walmart four hours prior to the crash, according to a the Florida Highway Patrol officials.
FHP and PBSO said, they are still waiting to get relevant information concerning the crash from anyone who may have witness the car incident.
