Two-Vehicle Crash In Palm Beach County Kills Two And Injures Three
A driver and a passenger died in a car after it slammed into a tractor trailer in Palm Beach County.
The blue 1994 Toyota Corolla was headed east on Lake Clarke Shores near Limestone Creek when the driver lost control and rammed into the truck, said cops.
The driver, a 22-year old man, was declared dead at the scene. Another 21-year-old man, who was in the front seat, was rushed to Delray Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. Another passenger in the back seat got away with only scratches. He refused medical attention at the scene.
The driver of the truck and two other passengers in the truck, were reported in critical condition, according a Florida Highway Patrol.
The front part of the car ended up flying onto a neighbor’s lawn across the street, said the resident.
A Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said, EMS workers arrived within two minutes of receiving a call about the crash.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation and Florida Highway Patrol is urging anyone with important information relating to the crash to contact the FHP.
