65-Year-Old Woman Dies After Stolen Truck Incident In Davie

A tractor trailer crashed into a house and killed a 65-year-old woman. The truck had been stolen earlier and was being followed by police, the Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said.

Three men were arrested after the tractor trailer knocked down and killed the woman, who was in her 60s.  They proceeded to hit two other parked cars and smash into the side of the house in Davie in Palm Beach County.

The incident, which happened at Palm Beach County, has been referred to the Florida Highway Patrol officials

The Palm Beach County Sheriff Office said, the truck had previously been reported as stolen.

A spokesman said: “It was traveling along Delray Beach when an officer in a marked patrol car traveling in the opposite direction turned around to follow the vehicle.

“The vehicle then traveled onto Limestone Creek, where it collided with a pedestrian,” a witness said.

“The vehicle then hit two parked cars before colliding with a house on the road and coming to a stop.”

The driver of the truck is currently in police custody, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
