Two-Vehicle Crash In Martin County Sent Five To The Hospital
Jupiter Island Road in Martin County was closed following a car accident that sent five men to the hospital with critical injuries.
The accident happened at the intersection of Jupiter Island Road (Route 152) and Port Salerno Road, according to a media release from The Florida Highway Patrol officials.
FHP Troopers said, a 32-year-old man was driving a green Chevrolet pickup west on Port Salerno Road and failed to stop at a stop sign, according to the release. The Chevrolet truck collided with an Isuzu SUV, driven by a 27-year-old, that was heading north on Route 152 passing Ocean Breeze Park Road.

The Isuzu SUV was hit on the passenger side and came to final rest on the grass shoulder.
Members of Martin County Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene to administer medical attention.
The 27-year-old driver and three passengers in the Isuzu were taken to Delray Medical Center and the Chevrolet driver was taken to a hospital in Martin County, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
