Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has identified the two people killed in a car crash as Patrick Albert, 78, and Kathryn Caps, 56, both of whom lived west of Boca Raton.
The sheriff’s office said, Albert turned left in a 2015 four-door Honda from the southbound lanes of Hagen Ranch Road onto Woolbright Road’s eastbound lanes.
A 78-year-old was driving a 2006 Mack truck north on Hagen Ranch Road and crashed into the Honda as Albert turned left.
Both Albert and his passenger, Caps, were killed at the scene.
Everyone involved in the crash was wearing a seat belt, the sheriff’s office said. The driver of the truck received only minor injuries.
All lanes have been reopened at intersection of Woolbright Road and Hagen Ranch Road, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the accident.
