12 Injured, Multiple Critical After Delray Beach Crash
FHP says, 12 migrants and two traffickers were injured when their SUV overturned on a highway in Delray Beach.
The car caught fire but all occupants managed to get out.
All 12, the driver and migrants from other countries, were driven to a local hospital. Hospital officials say one is in serious condition.
The crash took place on the same road and nearly the same location where another car carrying 8 missionaries and two traffickers collided with a truck killing all of the car’s occupants.
FHP authorities say, one migrant has died and 200 others have entered the county when a large group of migrants attacked a fence.
A representative of Palm Beach County government says the man appears to have died from a heart attack. Officials are waiting for an autopsy to confirm the cause of death.
The representative says at least five other missionaries were also injured.
