A 37-year-old man involved in a three-vehicle crash on Jensen Beach Highway is still in a critical condition and is being transferred to a Martin County Hospital.
Initial investigations indicated a car traveling northbound on Coral Springs collided with a vehicle traveling southbound before being hit by a third vehicle, which was also traveling southbound.
The man was airlifted from the Jensen Beach Base Hospital to a Martin County hospital.
The man has been at Coral Springs Hospital with six other people also involved in the accident.
Three 32-year-old women were transported to Jensen Beach Base Hospital, one in a serious condition and the two in a stable condition.
All four are believed to have been traveling in the northbound vehicle.
A 37-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy, both from Delray Beach, have been transported to a Martin County hospital in a stable condition.
Both are believed to have been traveling in the third vehicle, which was traveling southbound.
Coral Springs Highway was closed for several hours and has since reopened.
The Florida Highway Patrol Department and the Martin County Police Department said the cause of the crash is still under investigation and urges anyone with relevant information concerning the crash to contact the FHP.
