Florida Highway Patrol officials have identified a 48-year-old man and another 43-year- old woman who were killed after their Honda sedan collided with a Mack truck west of Boynton Beach.
Nick Hills, 48, was driving the Honda and Kim Kennedy, 43, was his passenger as they traveled south along the Hagen Ranch Road, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and police authorities said in a statement.
At the same time a 59-year-old of West Palm Beach was steering the truck north on the Hagen Ranch Road.
After the Honda turned into the path of the truck, the two vehicles collided at the intersection of Woolbright Road, the Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
Nick and Kim, who both lived in Boynton Beach, died in the car crash.
All lanes of travel were shut down for hours as the crash was investigated. The neighborhood is east of Florida’s Turnpike and south of West Boynton Beach Boulevard.
