Palm Beach County Fire Rescue says three people are dead as a result of a multi-vehicle crash at South Jog Road and Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach.
First arriving crews reported there were four vehicles involved with one rolled onto its roof, trapping the occupants.
Firefighters freed several occupants from badly damaged vehicles with the jaws of life.
There were a total of 13 injured patients involved in the crash, including one fatality.
The people, who were killed in the multi-vehicle crash at South Jog Road and Linton Boulevard in Delray Beach, were the driver of a car and two pedestrians, Florida Highway Patrol officials report.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The pedestrians were taken to Delray Medical Center, where they both later died.
Two other people remain in critical condition. All the others involved in the accident suffered minor injuries.
The Florida Highway Patrol could not say what may have caused the crash, but it says investigations are still ongoing.
