The West Palm Beach police said, the Kia was making a right turn from Delray Beach when the Lincoln hit the Kia.

The driver of the Kia was taken to a nearby hospital. The extent of his injuries is unclear.

Police officials are trying to determine who is at fault.  No witnesses have come forward.

The northbound lanes of Wellington were shut down while traffic was diverted to Delray Beach.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office had no immediate information on what must have caused the accident. Florida Highway Patrol reports the Lincoln went into the northbound lanes, through a guardrail and over an embankment before coming back on the right lane of Wellington Avenue.

The Kia was headed to a concert at the Jensen Beach in Martin County before the accident happened, West Palm Beach police said.

The two people injured in the crash have not yet been identified by police authorities.

If you have any relevant information relating to the crash, please call the West Palm Police Department or the Florida Highway Patrol.
