25-Year-Old Arrested For Car Crash That Killed One And Injured One
A daughter of a former Florida Highway Patrol sergeant has been summoned to appear in court to answer homicide charges over a fatal car crash.
Broward County prosecutors initially decided not to charge the 25-year-old boy after his Porsche 911 sports car plowed into a minivan taxi in Broward County, killing one woman and seriously injuring another according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The Florida Highway Patrol Authority reversed its decision after his father was ousted as head of state by the ruling congress.
Prosecutors initially gave the 25-year-old boy two months to say why he should not be prosecuted but said he had failed to do so.
A spokeswoman for the FHP told The Post that the 25-year-old had been summoned to appear at the Magistrate’s Court in Broward County and that prosecutors expected him to attend.
Attempts to reach the 25-year-old, who rarely speaks to the media, were unsuccessful. His lawyer was not immediately available for comment.
During an inquest, he said his car hit a puddle and he lost control‚ veering into the taxi‚ which in turn smashed into a barrier, describing the incident as “tragic”.
Accident attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate crash. “This is a serious accident resulting in a fatality.
