Two Motorcyclist Killed In Riviera Beach Crash

A 36-year-old Palm Beach County man and a 40-year-old Indian River County man are dead after they both crashed their motorcycles in Riviera Beach.

The crash occurred on the 6300 block of Riviera Beach, between Boca Raton and Boynton Beach roads, Palm Beach Sheriff Office and police authorities said in a news release.

A 36-year-old Palm Beach County man and a 29-year-old Indian River County man were riding together when the crash happened, Florida Highway Patrol officials said. They were heading westbound on Riviera Beach when they “failed to negotiate a curve in the road,” the news release states.

They crashed off the left side of the road, police officials and Palm Beach Sheriff Office said. The 29-year-old was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The 36-year-old died from his injuries at Delray Beach Medical Center.

Anyone with relevant information concerning what may have triggered that crash is encourage to contact the Palm Beach Sheriff Office (PBSO) or the police.

The police are working with crash reconstruction teams to probe the crash. Officials did not provide a preliminary cause of the incident.
