At Least 7 Injured After Car Crashes Into Social Security Office In Boynton Beach
At least 7 people were injured three critical when a car crashed into the waiting room of a Social Security office in Palm Beach County, officials said.
A driver reportedly was trying to park the car which was carrying two passengers, including two children when it suddenly slammed into a waiting room in Boynton Beach, where dozens of people were waiting, according to police.
A 15-year-old girl, whose ribs were bruised, told the Press that she saw bodies flying in the accident.
“It was like a disaster movie, I saw one guy just fall down in front of me,” the girl told the post, according to a video posted on Twitter.
A male passenger was among those who suffered critical injuries and the two children in the car were not considered to be in critical condition.
A total of 7 victims were taken to Delray Medical Center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Most of the patients have been treated and released and one patient is still being evaluated in the trauma center, FHP said.
Police said the crash appeared to be accidental.
