Four Sent To Hospital After Palm Beach Car Crash
Victims of a crash are in a stable condition with minor injuries after the accident occurred in Wellington.
The crash occurred when a late model four-door hatchback, heading east along Boca Raton, slowed to turn onto Wellington. A man and three children occupied the vehicle.
A man driving a truck failed to stop for the hatchback and smashed into its rear.
The truck suffered minor damage. The occupants of the vehicles were sent to Wellington Hospital with injuries. The man in the hatchback is believed to have suffered a fractured cheekbone.
The crash occurred just a few hundred meters from the wreckers’ yard, where the destroyed hatchback will be stored until being scrapped.
Florida Highway Patrol officials and police authorities said the crash is still under investigation as they are trying to determine if either drugs or alcohol had a part to play in the crash.
