Man In His 30’s Critical After Crashing Motorcycle In Martin County
A man in his late 30’s has been taken to Martin County Hospital with serious burns and is in a critical condition.
The man is still in a critical condition after his motorcycle exploded in a crash with a white SUV.
Emergency Services responded to the accident near the corner of Coconut Creek where the motorcyclist received serious burns.
The man sustained burns and a leg injury from an accident between a motorbike and a car on the corner of Rio and Coconut Creek.
Eyewitnesses rushed out of their homes and businesses after hearing the crash and found the man and his bike on fire.
The bike landed on the footpath outside an Enterprises at Ocean Breeze Park
Luckily, the manager had left four buckets of water near the front door of the shop the night before, which helped to extinguish the flames.
Police are still investigating, but eyewitnesses said cars often use the street to perform U-turns back onto Rio.
Charges have not been filed yet according to the Florida Highway Patrol, as it isn’t sure if drugs or alcohol had a role to play in the crash
Coconut Creek is closed.
