One Dead, Three Others Critical After Rollover Crash In Palm Beach County
A rollover car crash near the Pahokee airport had claimed the life of one teenager and left three others in very critical condition, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office disclosed.
Six individuals were inside the Honda Accord when it crashed. According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s office, evidence at the scene showed that either alcohol or drugs may have been the cause of the crash. Authorities, however, could not identify who the driver was.
Deborah Thomas of Belle Glade in Palm Beach Gardens was confirmed dead at the crash scene. She was in the car with two other friends who are in critical condition at Delray Medical Center.
Prior to the crash, the Honda Accord was seen traveling southbound on Bacom Point Road, also known as State Road 715. The driver failed to turn when the road curved and had driven off its west side.
The vehicle started rolling and flipping, throwing everyone inside it out of the car and onto the ground, before finally crashing into Toyota Corolla.
Three victims sustained minor injuries in the crash. They had been taken to a nearby hospital.
