Three people were injured, one critically when a speeding vehicle crashed into a minivan in St. Lucie County, police and law enforcement sources told the Post.
A red Honda Pilot was speeding when it struck the van, sources said.
The driver of the minivan, a 34-year-old man, was rushed to Delray Medical Center in a critical condition with a life-threatening head injury, police sources said.
His female passenger, 37, and the one occupant of the minivan, a 32-year-old man, were all taken to St. Lucie County Hospital with non-life threatening neck and back injuries, police said.
A local resident, who asked to remain anonymous, said she called 911 to report the crash.
The minivan flipped and had landed on the divider with its four wheels up, FHP reported.
Florida Highway Patrol officials said, the driver of the Honda Pilot was injured and is currently being questioned by police officials.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the incident to find out if either drugs or alcohol has a part to play in the crash.
Anyone with relevant information concerning the crash is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol.
