A Palm Beach man and his 11-year old daughter were among six people critical in a Palm Beach County car crash, police officials said.
A 42-year-old mand and his daughter, 11, were injured when their Toyota Corolla collided with a BMW SUV, FHP authorities said.
The driver of the SUV, a 52-year-old man of Indian River County, was critically injured in the wreck, police said. The three other passengers in the SUV survived but with critical injuries.
“The two cars were completely destroyed,” a 32-year-old man told the police. “The fronts of both cars were crushed up to the front doors. It looked like the cars were in a lap. It was a miracle all the victims survived because it was terrible.”
Police said, the driver was driving eastbound on a street in Palm Beach when he veered into the westbound lane and crashed into the Toyota near the intersection of a Palm Beach Avenue.
A 17-year old boy who lives on a street about 25 yards from where the two cars collided, said he heard the crash.
FHP said the crash is still under investigation as it suspects alcohol may have played a major role.
