45-Year-Old Driver Critical In Vehicle Wreck That Also Injured Two Others
An unidentified male passenger inside a 2005 Lexus has been injured in a crash on Interstate 95. The crash closed the highway’s southbound lanes for several hours near the Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver,45, of Fort Lauderdale, was also rushed to Saint Mary’s Medical Center with severe injuries and another passenger was listed in critical condition in Delray Medical Center.
The Lexus was seen traveling south on I-95 when a tire blowout occurred causing the car to spin into a 2015 Volvo, FHP disclosed in the crash report.
According to the report, the Volvo collided with the Lexus’s rear. The driver sustained minor injuries in the wreck.
The cause of the crash still remains unknown as police investigations are still going on.
According to the FHP, traffic is currently being diverted and all southbound lanes are closed.
