Three-Vehicle Crash in West Palm Beach Leaves Several People Critical
West Palm Beach police and the Florida Highway Patrol have identified the men injured in a crash as 42-year-old Donald Nick and 47-year-old Ell Hills, both of West Palm Beach.
A 16-year-old boy who was in the back seat of the 2013 Toyota Corolla suffered a broken leg. The teen is expected to make a full recovery, police said. Police say Donald was driving a 2013 Toyota Corolla. He often offered rides to people, police said, and did not appear to know either of his passengers.
A white Honda Accord was traveling south at a high rate of speed on Flagler Drive near the intersection with Murray Road when it struck a tractor trailer and caught fire, police said.
A police spokesman said, one person was unconscious at the scene of the crash and the second person was immediately admitted at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Police did not specify whether Donald or Ell had seatbelts on.
The 48-year-old tractor trailer driver remains in a stable condition in Palm Beach County.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call West Palm Beach police or the Florida Highway Patrol.
