West Palm Beach Car Accident Critically Injured Four People

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and the Florida Highway Patrol, a 2003 Ford F350, driven by a 44-year old man of suburban West Palm Beach, was traveling westbound on Summit Boulevard approaching Kirk Road.

A 2008 Kia Sorento, driven by a 31-year-old of suburban West Palm Beach, was traveling northbound on Kirk Road approaching Summit Boulevard.

As both vehicles entered the intersection, the front of the 2003 Ford F350 truck collided with the passenger side of the Kia.

The Ford F350 truck then rotated and overturned, sliding northwest. The driver side of the cab struck a cement utility pole.

The Kia rotated and overturned, coming to rest on the northwest side of the intersection on the grass facing northwest.

The 2003 Ford F350 driver and three other passengers in his vehicle were all listed in critical condition at the scene by paramedics who were present.

The 31-year-old was transported to JFK Hospital with minor injuries.

Florida Highway Patrol and the Palm Beach Police Department said, the crash is still under investigation, as the police are still trying to determine if toxicity was part of the crash.

Florida Highway Patrol and the Palm Beach Police Department is urging those with relevant information concerning the crash to come forward.
