A tractor trailer that crashed into a house and injured a 23-year-old woman had been stolen earlier and was being followed by police officials and the Florida Highway Patrol, a police force spokesman said.
Two men were arrested after the truck knocked down and injured the woman, hit two other parked cars and smashed into the side of the house in Davie in Palm Beach County.
The incident, which happened in Palm Beach County has been referred to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff Office said, he truck had previously been reported as stolen.
A spokesman said: “It was traveling along Delray Beach, towards Davie, when an officer in a marked patrol car, traveling in the opposite direction, turned around to follow the vehicle.
“The vehicle then traveled on to Limestone Creek, where it was in collision with a pedestrian, a woman in her 20′.
“The vehicle then hit two parked cars before colliding with a house on the road and coming to a stop.”
The driver of the vehicle is currently in police custody.
