At Least 5 People Have Been Injured After Vehicle Crashed Into Court Room In Palm Beach County
At least 5 people were injured, three critical, when a car crashed into a courthouse in Palm Beach County, officials said.
A driver reportedly was trying to park the car which was carrying two passengers, including two children when it suddenly slammed into a courthouse in Boynton Beach, where dozens of people were inside, according to police.
A 14-year-old girl, whose ribs were bruised, told the Press that she saw bodies flying. “It was like a disaster movie. I saw one guy just fall down in front of me,” the girl told the post.
A male passenger was among those who suffered critical injuries and the two children in the car were not considered to be in critical condition. A total of five patients were taken to Delray Medical Center, which is a level two trauma center, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Most of the patients have been treated and released and one patient is still being evaluated in the trauma center, FHP said. Police said the crash appeared to be accidental.
Accident attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate crash. “This is a serious accident resulting in injuries.
