Driver And Two Passengers Injured After Car Crash In West Palm Beach
Three people were injured after a red Lincoln and a silver Kia crashed near the intersection of Banyan Boulevard and Australian Avenue.
The West Palm Beach police said, the Kia was making a right turn from Banyan Boulevard when the Lincoln hit the Kia.
The driver of the Kia and two passengers were taken to a nearby hospital. The extent of their injuries is unclear. Police officials are trying to determine who is at fault. There appear to be no witnesses. The northbound lanes of Australian were shut down while traffic was diverted to Banyan Boulevard. Just the right lane of Australian Avenue was closed.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office had no immediate information on what must have caused the accident. Florida Highway Patrol reports the Lincoln went into the northbound lanes, through a guardrail and over an embankment before coming back on the right lane of Australian Avenue next to a creek near Wellington.
The Kia was headed to a concert at the Jensen Beach in Martin County before the accident happened, West Palm Beach Police officials said.
“If you have any relevant information relating to the crash, please call the West Palm Police Department or the Florida Highway Patrol,” said a West Palm Police spokesman.
Accident attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate crash. “This is a serious accident resulting in injuries.
