“So unreal. They were all here bleeding and screaming,. I was like, ‘Oh my God,'” said a 29-year-old who lives off Swinton Avenue.

“I ran out from that gate and I saw three ladies bleeding. Their head gushing. One lady was hysterical and I thought the other lady was dead,” said the 29-year- old.

Delray police officers on the scene say a Honda Civic was traveling westbound on Northeast Third Street when the driver ran the stop sign and smashed into an Isuzu Rodeo traveling south on Swinton. Five people were rushed to the hospital, but all are expected to make a full recovery.

A woman who lives on North Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach says this is a regular occurrence.

“This is like the fifth and sixth accident on this corner in eight weeks,” she said.
