52-Year-Old Man Held On More Than $100,000 Bond For Crash That Injured Three Officers

Jupiter police arrested a 52-year-old after officers say he intentionally crashed into several patrol cars.

Police responded to Indiantown Road after they received reports of a stolen car sighting. Officers say they tried to pull over the driver, but he took off, intentionally crashing into two patrol cars and injuring three officers.

The police report said, Sgt. Nick Adams suffered injuries to his knee and shoulder, Officer Mike Jossy suffered injuries to his hand and leg and Officer Mike Brown suffered minor head injuries. Officer Nick’s mother spoke at the Jupiter Town Council meeting just hours after her son was injured in the crash. She said her son worked previously for the New York Police Department but moved to Jupiter because he wanted to stay close to his parents.

All three officers injured in the crash are expected to be OK. The 52-year-old man is being held on more than $100,000 bond. He just got out of prison recently on a robbery charge and was still on probation when he was arrested again.

Accident attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate crash. “This is a serious accident resulting in injuries.
