FHP Believes Alcohol Is Responsible For A Car Crash That Sent Man And Grandson To The Hospital
A Palm Beach man and his 15-year-old grandson were among the seven people critically injured after a Palm Beach County car crash, police officials said.
Oniel Edwardsville, 64, and his grandson, 15, were both injured when their Toyota Corolla collided with a BMW SUV, FHP authorities said.
The driver of the SUV, a 48-year-old man of Indian River County, was also injured in the wreck, police said. All four passengers in the SUV survived but with critical injuries.
“The two cars were completely destroyed,” a 32-year-old man told the police. “The fronts of both cars were crushed up to the front doors. It looked like the cars were in a lap. It was a miracle all the victims survived.”
Police said, the driver was driving eastbound on a Street in Palm Beach when he veered into the westbound lane and crashed into the Toyota near the intersection of a Palm Beach Avenue.
A 19-year-old boy who lives on a Street about 25 yards from where the two cars collided, said he heard the crash.
Although all parties involved in the crash were confirmed critical, FHP said the crash is still under investigation as it suspects alcohol may have played a major role.
Accident attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to this unfortunate crash. “This is a serious accident resulting in injuries.
