Four people have been seriously injured following a four-car wreck in Belle Glade, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
Rosemary Levine 34, was immediately rushed to the hospital. She was a passenger in a full-size van involved in the wreck, the sheriff’s office said.
A 2009 Acura TSX turned left shortly before onto South Main Street from Southeast Avenue G in front of a 2011 Ford F-150, the sheriff’s office said.
The vehicles collided, sending the truck and its 25-year-old driver of Belle Glade over a concrete median and into the northbound lanes of traffic on Main Street.
A 2008 Lexus IS 250 immediately hit the truck, pushing it into the path of a 2015 Ford E-350 and a full-size van driven by a 56-year-old. The van hit the driver’s side of the truck.
Three other people were seriously injured in the wreck. They were all wearing seat belts, records show.
The Acura driver, a 56-year-old of Belle Glade, was not injured in the wreck, the sheriff’s office said. She was wearing a seat belt.
The Lexus driver, a 29-year-old of Belle Glade, sustained minor injuries in the wreck.
All the injured victims were taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center. No one has been arrested in the wreck, the sheriff’s office said.
Florida Highway Patrol Department encourages anyone with additional information concerning the crash to contact the FHP Department.
