Police said, a man was found dead in Delray Beach on Interstate 95 after he fell off a motorcycle and was run over by several cars.
The family of 35-year-old Vince Arnold said the young man was on a date with his ex-girlfriend. The pair went to a restaurant in Delray Beach and were heading back home when they claim he fell off of the back of the woman’s motorcycle after the motorcycle had struck a school bus in the middle of I-95 near Atlantic Boulevard.
Arnold was run over several times by the bus while he was in the road.
One of the drivers who stopped said he made contact with a man who was on a motorcycle near the scene.
“I opened the door, and I asked him, ‘Is that a person laying in the road?’” said the driver. “He said, ‘Yes. He’s dead.’”
However, FHP said the driver of the school bus, a 39-year old from Wellington, showed much remorse, and claimed he didn’t notice the motorcycle.
FHP is asking anyone with information to call Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers.
