Emergency Responders Found Injured Victims After Palm Beach County Car Crash
A 44-year-old Riviera Beach man was severely injured after being involved in a car accident in Boca Raton, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
The 44-year-old, of the 1700 block of Riviera Beach in Palm Beach County, was rushed to a hospital in Davie after the 2006 Pontiac G6 he was a passenger in struck a truck in Boca Raton, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
An initial investigation showed the vehicle being driven by a 30-year old of Fort Lauderdale. He was traveling east in the 7400 block of Boca Raton Road when it struck a truck driven by a 26-year-old man from Boynton Beach,” Florida Highway Patrol officials said.
Emergency responders found both men injured. The 44-year-old was trapped in the vehicle, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The 30-year-old driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, police said.
Police did not say what the relationship was between the victims.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing, but alcohol and excessive speed are not believed to be factors in the crash, police said.
