The man has been at Coral Springs Hospital with three other people also involved in the accident.

Two 32-year-old women were transported to Jensen Beach Base Hospital, one in a serious condition and the one is in a stable condition.

All four people are believed to have been traveling in the northbound vehicle. A 29-year-old man and an 18-year-old boy, both from Delray Beach, have been transported to a Martin County hospital in a stable condition.

Coral Springs Highway, which was closed for several hours, has since reopened. Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.

Initial investigations indicated a car traveling northbound on the Coral Springs collided with a vehicle traveling southbound before being hit by a third vehicle, which was also traveling southbound.

Emergency services attended and a number of people were transported to hospital.

The Florida Highway Patrol Department and the Martin County Police Department said the cause of the crash is still under investigation and urges anyone with relevant information concerning the crash to contact the FHP.
