A West Palm Beach Car Crash On Village Blvd Leaves 5 People Injured, PBSO
A 21-year-old Ford Explorer driver involved in a three-vehicle crash that occurred when an SUV drove off Village Boulevard and onto Community Drive in West Palm Beach is currently facing charges of driving without a license and careless driving, said Palm Beach Sherrif’s Office.
The crash closed down the road during the rush hour. Five people were rushed to the hospital as a precaution, a PBSO officer said.
Investigating authorities said the crash occurred when a Ford Explorer driving southbound on Village Blvd lost control without known reason. The vehicle crashed through a chain-link fence and struck a Toyota RAV4 head-on.
The crash pushed the Toyota into a Mercedes in another lane, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.
The West Palm Beach Fire Rescue took the RAV4’s driver, a 22-year-old man, to a nearby hospital and he sustained minor injuries, according to paramedics.
The Explorer driver told the investigating authorities he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said investigation is still going on.
Local authorities are asking anyone with relevant information to contact the Florida Highway Patrol or PBSO.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded about the crash. “Be especially careful when entering an intersection with many local business present. If you were involved in an accident due to someone else being distracted, call me for a free consultation so we can discuss your rights and what compensation you may be entitled to.”
