Pedestrian Has Been Struck And Killed In Lake Worth Crash
LAKE WORTH, Fla. – A male pedestrian who was killed in a Lake Worth crash has been identified as 26-year-old Garvin Saint Jean of Lake Worth, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said.
The crash happened on Jog Road near Lantana Road according to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office.
A 2016 Honda Civic, driven by 26-year-old man, was heading north on Jog Road in the center lane, just south of Lantana Road, according to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office. The pedestrian was within the center lane of Jog Road. It’s unclear what he was doing in the middle of the road.
When the Honda Civic approached the pedestrian, the driver swerved to the left to avoid him, but to no avail, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said. The pedestrian was thrown in the roadway and died at the scene.
