Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that injured six in Palm Beach County. The crash happened at the intersection of Royal Palm Beach Blvd and Crestwood Blvd N in Royal Palm Beach.
Investigators said a white 2015 Range Rover was traveling on Crestwood Blvd N at a high rate of speed when it struck an SUV coming north on Royal palm Beach Blvd and caught fire.
According to the investigating officials, three men and an 11-year old were in the Range Rover at the time of the crash.
One man was taken to a local hospital by paramedics at the scene. A second man was later taken to a hospital in Royal Palm Beach.
The driver of the Range Rover, who was critically injured, was identified as a 56-year-old man of West Palm Beach. The 11-year old, who was a rear passenger, suffered a broken leg and is expected to make a full recovery.
FHP said that two people in the SUV were reported critical after both vehicles went up in flames.
Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to call the Florida Highway Patrol.
