A crash involving a car and semi truck in Golden Lakes has critically injured three people. The car crash was reported at Belvedere Rd near the entrance of Sansburys Way in Golden Lakes, Palm Beach County.
According to the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office, a semi-truck driven by a 34-year old of Okeechobee was driving on Belvedere Rd and struck the left side of a Mazda driven by a 21-year old of Riviera Beach who was heading northbound on Sansburys Way.
The semi veered off Belvedere Rd after hitting the Mazda and burst into flames, PBSO said.
The 34-year-old was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. Both the 21-year-old and a passenger were also hospitalized after the crash.
Belvedere Rd and Sansburys Way were reopened. The Florida Highway Patrol said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
