Three Florida residents were injured in a crash in Florida’s West Palm Beach after a vehicle hit them from behind, the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office said.
The PBSO said the two-vehicle crash occurred near Jupiter Donuts in Royal Palm. A 2015 Honda Civic, driven by a 55-year-old man from Wellington, Florida was traveling on Gembrook Ct.
A 2012 Jeep, driven by a 36-year-old man of Fort Pierce, was traveling on Oakwater Dr. PBSO officials said the Honda’s front collided with the rear end of Jeep at the intersection of Gembrook Ct and Oakwater Dr.
This caused the Jeep to crash into a canal critically injuring both the 36-year old and his passenger, a 21-year-old girl.
The 55-year-old Wellington man also suffered critical injuries. The cause of the crash remains under investigation as the PBSO tries to determine if drugs or alcohol impaired driving.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office report states that charges are pending in the case. Anyone with relevant information relating to the accident is asked to call the PBSO.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
