Two Injured In Palm Beach Crash

Two people suffered critical injuries in a crash on Beeline Highway north of Northlake Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens police said.

A Volkswagen car was heading south on Beeline Highway when it crashed head-on into a Toyota car driven by a 25-year-old man, according to police. The Volkswagen was driven by a 39-year-old man whose identity is yet to be released by the authorities. The Volkswagen driver had been driving in the wrong direction on Beeline Highway and caused the crash, but police are still investigating the accident.

First emergency responders arrived at the site soon after the accident happened. The other driver sustained major injuries and was rushed to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. His passenger, a 30-year-old man, was also taken to a local hospital and released.

This is a vehicle crash with injuries, the Palm Beach Gardens Police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department.

Beeline Hwy is partially closed at the moment due to the severity of the crash, causing traffic delays. Vehicles on this route are pulling to the roadside to allow crews to work.  It is best to use an alternative route.

Please drive with caution and stay safe.
