Two Killed In Crash On Congress Avenue In West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, Fl — Two people are dead after a car lost control along Congress Avenue, police say.
According to West Palm Beach Police, the crash happened on North Congress Avenue, just north of the Palm Beach Outlets.
The crash involved three cars, a Buick, a Ford, and a Chevy.
Police say the driver of the Buick, a 27-year-old man, lost control of the car and crossed into oncoming traffic where he crashed into a Ford truck and a Chevy. He was taken to the hospital and is stable. Both passengers of the Buick were pronounced dead at the scene. Police identified the victims as a 30-year-old man and a 29-year-old man.
A 57-year-old man who was the driver of the Ford was not injured in the crash, and the driver of the Chevy, a 70-year-old man, suffered only minor injuries.
Both the northbound and southbound lanes were closed for several hours, according to police.
