Man Dies Three Days After Crash
A 90-year-old man has died from injuries he suffered earlier in the week when his vehicle struck two curbs and a tree while headed in the wrong direction on Military Trail outside Boynton Beach, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The nonagenarian of Boynton Beach died at Delray Medical Center where he was taken after the crash, which happened at midnight at Military Trail and Boynton Beach Boulevard.
He was driving his 2019 Hyundai Sonata southbound in the northbound turning lanes on the Trail, PBSO said. The car struck a curb, continued southbound in the northbound lanes and hit another curb in the median.
The car continued moving southbound in the median, where it hit a tree and stopped within the median and an inside travel lane.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
