One Dead In Two-Car Crash In The Acreage

A 93-year-old man is dead after driving through a stop sign and crashing with a tractor-trailer in the Acreage, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.

The man was driving a 1999 Toyota sedan north on Hall Boulevard prior to the crash, the sheriff’s office said. He didn’t stop at the stop sign at the intersection at Northlake Boulevard and collided with a westbound tractor-trailer driven by a 58-year-old who lives west of West Palm Beach.

Both vehicles ended up in a wooded area on the north side of Northlake, west of Hall Boulevard. The tractor-trailer flipped but the driver was not injured.

Palm Beach County Fire Rescue authorities pronounced the driver dead at the scene.
