2 Killed In Rollover Crash In Tamarac
TAMARAC, Fla. – Two people were killed in a crash in Tamarac, authorities confirmed.
The crash was reported at the intersection of Rock Island Road and West Commercial Boulevard.
According to Broward Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman, Gerdy St. Louis, a car and a pickup truck were involved in the crash that left the car rolled over on its side.
St. Louis said BSO deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue crews responded to the scene.
According to authorities, two out of the four people inside the car were pronounced dead at the scene. The other two were taken to Broward Health Medical Center in serious condition.
Deputies said the driver of the pickup truck was also taken to Broward Health Medical Center to be checked out.
Traffic homicide detectives were dispatched to investigate the circumstances behind the crash, St. Louis said.
It’s unclear who was at fault.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
