Man Killed In I-95 Crash
A 44-year-old man was killed in a crash on I-95, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened at the Hypoluxo road exit ramp of I-95. Troopers said a Lake Worth man was driving a BMW X4 east on Interstate 95 near Lake Worth when he failed to negotiate a curve.
He lost control of the vehicle and it began spinning before it slid off the roadway, according to the crash report.
The vehicle flipped onto a grassy shoulder and the driver was ejected from the car, the FHP said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers said the crash is still being investigated.
First emergency responders arrived at the site of the crash soon after the accident happened and the victim was transported to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
This route is partially closed due to the severity of the crash, causing traffic delays. It is best to exit I-95 via Lantana Road in the north and W Boyton Beach Blvd in the south.
Attorney Jason Weisser of Schuler, Halvorson, Weisser, Zoeller and Overbeck responded to distracted driving. “In my many years as a Personal Injury Lawyer I’ve helped many victims that were injured because someone was distracted and crashed into their vehicles. If you’ve been injured by someone because they weren’t paying attention to the road, please call me so I can help you get compensation for your damages.”
