Crash Blocks I-95 Near Palm Beach Gardens
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fl. — A crash on I-95 is blocking three southbound lanes near the Palm Beach Gardens Boulevard exit.
According to a report by FHP, the crash happened just after the PGA Boulevard exit in the northbound lanes. The victim suffered injuries when his SUV crashed into another vehicle on northbound Interstate 95 in Palm Beach Gardens.
Rescue crews were called. Paramedics and fire rescue arrived at the scene of the wreck promptly.
A passenger was trapped in one of the vehicles and was extricated when paramedics arrived. He appears to have suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported quickly to a trauma center. The driver of the other vehicle seemed stable.
At the time of this reporting, authorities are still investigating and the full details of the crash are yet to be published. It is unclear whether speeding, alcohol or drugs were a cause of the accident.
The crash blocked several lanes on the highway. The FHP advised drivers to take other routes.
