Man, 47, Killed In Motorcycle Crash
A Boca Raton man was driving a motorcycle southbound on Interstate 95 approaching the westbound exit ramp for Griffin Road when he lost control and struck the left guardrail.
The man, who is newly retired, was killed in the southwest Broward County motorcycle crash, authorities said.
The 47-year-old man will be sorely missed by friends and family, his brother announced with a heavy heart.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, the motorcycle — make and model not given — was southbound on Interstate 95, approaching the westbound exit ramp for Griffin Road when the driver lost control, the report said.
It said the man did wear a helmet at the time of the crash.
FHP did not name the victim.
Investigations are ongoing into the cause of the crash.
